The plough frame is critical to overall strength. Kverneland frames are heat treated twice by induction, carefully controlling temperature to triple steel strength. This provides exceptional durability, robustness, and flexibility without adding weight.

Unbeatable in Stony Conditions

Kverneland’s fully automatic Auto-Reset System ensures trouble-free ploughing in stony soils. A multi-leaf spring system allows plough bodies to release smoothly over obstacles and return automatically to the correct depth.

Different leaf spring packages adapt to soil type: standard 5-leaf springs for soft soils, Heavy Duty 7-leaf springs for most conditions, and double-leaf for very hard or stony ground. Extra heat-treated leaves increase resistance up to 1400 kp and are fitted with a single central bolt.

Each plough body releases independently, minimizing wear, protecting the frame and parts, saving maintenance, and maintaining high second-hand value.
